Culture Class Collection copy is box 30, no. 71 in a collection of early modern German legal pamphlets and broadsides issued in Braunschweig or (later) the Napoleonic kingdom of Westphalia.
Culture Class Collection copy has ms. numeral ("178.") and ms. note in head margin of leaf [A]1r.
Culture Class Collection copy has on leaf [A]2v a fair round black seal of closure (presumably shellac), now broken into 2 fragments (1 at fore-edge, 1 at opposite edge). Size: ca. 30 x 30 mm. Design: arms of the Dukes of Brunswick-Lüneburg. No legend.
Culture Class Collection copy has ms. inscription and accompanying flourishes on leaf [A]2v, all of which fits precisely into the rectangle formed by the document's fold lines as formed to fit the seal together, and which presumably accompanied the original sealing of the document.
