Local Notes:
Culture Class Collection copy is box 30, no. 38 in a collection of early modern German legal pamphlets and broadsides issued in Braunschweig or (later) the Napoleonic kingdom of Westphalia.
Culture Class Collection copy has on leaf [A]2v a faint round red seal of closure (presumably shellac), now broken into 2 fragments (1 on fore-edge, 1 on opposite edge), with significant damage to the surface of the shellac and chunks of it missing. Size: ca. 30 x 30 mm. Design: indiscernible armorial design, possibly that of the Dukes of Brunswick-Lüneburg. Legend: C[...]R[...].
Culture Class Collection copy has ms. inscription on leaf [A]2v, all of which fits precisely into the rectangle formed by the document's fold lines as formed to fit the seal together, and which presumably accompanied the original sealing of the document.
