Summary:

Text dedicated to the veneration of the Hindu deity Kṛṣṇa, especially in his manifestation as a playful cow herder who cavorts with the cow-herder girls (gopīs). Describes a maṇḍala or mystic diagram featuring Kṛṣṇa and the gopīs, exploring various names and mantras associated with the god; opens with a praise of the deities Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa instead of the deity Gaṇeśa, the lord of beginnings, who more typically opens Sanskrit manuscripts.
