Culture Class Collection copy 1 (GrC Ar466 Ef12 1584) has armorial bookplate (bearing the motto "In promptu") of the Trotter family of Mortonhall. The Trotter family library established in the 17th c. was eventually sold in 1947 under the title: Valuable books from the library of Captain Henry Trotter, Mortonhall, Edinburgh.
