Summary:
Text praising one thousand names of the Hindu deity Śiva, especially his passive form as Sadāśiva, to be used in private or public devotion and worship (pūjā) of Śiva and positing him as the highest reality in the universe. Presented as a dialogue between the deity Kṛṣṇa and the legendary figures Mārkaṇḍeya and Vyāsā.

Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; double vertical lines in red mark borders throughout. Decorative floral borders on two folios (f. 1v and f. 40v).
