- Text from the last section (uttarakāṇḍa) of the Adhyātmarāmāyaṇa, chapter five, a conversation between Rāma and his brother Lakṣmaṇa where Rāma propounds the merits of knowledge over that of action (karma). Presented within a discussion between the Hindu deity Śiva and Pārvatī.
