- Summary:
- Collection of short recitation texts to be employed in rituals of veneration of Hindu goddesses (especially forms of Dūrga) as well as Śiva, using mantras and invocations. It includes the Rātrisūkta from the Ṛgveda as well as Tantric texts such as the Navārṇamantranyāsa and the Āsanavidhi in the opening section as a means of inviting the deity (āsanavidhi) to their place in the ritualized space.
