Summary:
Bifolium containing an incomplete collection of three different praises (stotras) of the Hindu deities Viṣṇu, Śiva, and Kṛṣṇa, used in personal and public devotion and prayer. First, the Hariharastotra is represented by its last two verses and is said to be from the Karṇakhaṇḍa of an unknown purāṇa, possibly the Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa (f. 1r); it is dedicated to a combined form of the gods Viṣṇu and Śiva. Second, the Śivastotra is from the Kāśīkhaṇḍa of an unidentified purāṇa, likely the Skanapurāṇa (f. 1v). It is presented as a discourse between the mythological figures Dharaṇī and Śeṣa. Third, the Kṛṣṇāṣṭottaraśatanāma, is from the Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa (f. 2v); this text praises 108 names of the deity Kṛṣṇa. Poleman cites as three separate works and mistakenly places the Hariharastotra in Harvard's collection.
