Memorial of the inhabitants of the country north of the State of Missouri on the west bank of the Mississippi River, praying that the protection of the government of the United States may be extended to them, either by attaching them to the Territory of Michigan, or by the organization of a separate territorial government west of the Mississippi, and north of the State of Missouri.
