Summary:
Text on rites and ceremonies to perform, focusing on fasting vows, visiting pilgrimage sites, reciting mantras to various Hindu deities, among other rites. Performed during the fifth month of the Hindu calender Śrāvaṇa (July-August) and is especially auspicious for worshiping the deity Śiva. Presented as a discourse between the Hindu goddesses Pārvatī and Indrāṇī.
