Jin (d.1984) was an influential philosopher in China. Trained in the U.S., Jin developed a theory of logic, centered around the problem of induction, and utilizing Chinese terms. Zinda (U. Nürnberg-Erlangen, Germany) does a terrific job of introducing Jin's thought, focusing on his main works, Luoji, Zhishilun and Lun dao, and quoting extensively from the original texts in English translation, with Chinese terms included throughout the text.
