Insurance companies. A bill to increase the minimum paid-up share capital and margin of solvency required by an insurance company to which the Insurance Companies Act 1958 applies; to give powers of inspection to the Board of Trade in relation to those matters; and to provide that such an insurance company transacting motor insurance business shall make to the Board of Trade certain stipulated returns during its first five years of operation.
