Rating and valuation. A bill to reduce, during the currency of existing valuation lists, the rateable value of certain hereditaments; to make further provision as to the amounts payable by way of rates or in lieu of rates by the British Transport Commission, the Central Electricity Authority and area gas boards; to amend the provisions of the Local Government Act, 1948, as to the ascertainment of the rateable value for an area; and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid.
