- Contains many manuscript notes, in English and Latin.
- Book block wrapped in a parchment manuscript leaf before being bound.
- Vellum binding; splitting at front hinge. Spine title reads "Evangelia et Epistolae;" spine has date 1564 stamped in gold; marbled endpapers.
- Many leaves show signs of wear and brittleness, particularly at the edges. Manuscript text is generally written out to the edges of the leaf, leaving no margins; on many leaves the wearing of the edges has obscured portions of the text.
