National debt. Return to an order of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 13 July 1925;--for return "showing for the financial years commencing the 1st April 1880, the 1st April 1890, the 1st April 1900 and for each financial year therefater:--I.--The total amount of dead weight debt outstanding on the 1st April; the amounts which were made available in each year to 1924-25 inclusive for reduction of debt, distinguishing the sums expressly provided for service of the debt, the old sinking fund, and miscellaneous receipts; the gross amount of debt redeemed; the amount of debt created; and the net increase or decrease of debt in the year. II.--A similar statement in respect of other capital liabilities. III.--A similar statement in respect of the aggregate gross liabilities of the state (in continuation of Parliamentary Paper no. 140 of session 1924).".
