Naval and military operations and other expenditure arising out of the war. Vote of credit. Appropriation account, 1917-1918. Appropriation account of the sums granted by Parliament beyond the ordinary grants of Parliament to pay the expenses incurred for general navy and army services, beyond the specific provision made therefor by Parliament; for the conduct of naval and military operations; for measures taken for the security of the country; for assisting the food supply, and promoting the continuance of trade, industry, business and communications, whether by means of insurance or indemnity against risk, the financing of the purchase and resale of foodstuffs and materials, or otherwise; for relief of distress; and generally for all expenses, beyond those provided for in the ordinary grants of Parliament, arising out of the existence of a state of war, in the year ended 31st March 1918; together with the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General thereon.
