Return to an order of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 9th April 1897;-- for, return "showing the law charges paid by boards of guardians in England and Wales in each of the years ended the 25th day of March 1895, 1896, and 1897 in respect of disputed cases of settlement and removal, and the number of cases to which these charges relate where orders of removal were (a) granted or (b) refused."
