Public elementary schools warned. [For quarter ended 30th September 1899.] Copy of quarterly returns, by counties, of the public elementary schools--(1.) which have been warned by the Education Department under article 86 of the code, including schools from which the grant has been withheld under that article; (2.) which have been warned by the Education Department that the annual grant will, in future, be withheld unless defects in the school premises are remedied; (3.) the annual grants to which have been suspended for three months or more from the date of the receipt by the Education Department of the inspector's report, on account of defects in school premises (in continuation of Parliamentary Paper, no. 192, of session 1898).
