Licences (England). Returns of the number of new licences granted by justices in each of the several counties in England and Wales, in the years 1878-79, 1879-80, 1880-81, with the total number in the whole of England and Wales in each of the said years, showing, as far as possible, how many of these so-called new licences were only the conversion of beershops into public houses; and, summary of the number of new excise licences granted for beershops in England and Wales during the five years from 1864 to 1868, showing the total number in each year (in continuation of returns of 15th of March 1881).
