Foreign trade, revenue, &c. (1854 to 1880). Return to an order of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 13 February 1882; -for, returns "of the values of the imports into the United Kingdom. and of the exports of foreign and colonial produce and of British and Irish produce therefrom, for each year since 1854, according to a classification of the articles of import and export into (1) manufactured goods; (2)articles partly manufactured; (3) raw materials; and (4) articles of food, as in the annexed lists, and showing the total value of each class for each year; and of the quantities of the above articles imported and exported as far as the same can be given:" "of the quantities and value (total and per head of the population) of the principal articles subject to duties of customs and excise taken for consumption in each year since 1854;" "and, of the revenue (total and per head) for the same years, the changes in the duties to be noted."
