Chicago tinned beef, &c. (South African troops). Returns of the quantity of Chicago tinned beef sent to South Africa for the use of the troops since 1 January 1879, stating the names of the ships in which it was sent, and days of sailing; of the same with regard to any other brand of tinned beef sent out during the same period; of the same with regard to the kopf erbwurst food ordered by the Secretary of State for war in February 1879; and of the same with regard to the kopf erbwurst food, ordered by Lieutenant General Lord Chelmsford, through Commissary General Strickland, and delivered at Woolwich on 7 May 1879.
