Taxes and imposts (colonies). Further return. Return of the rates of all taxes and imposts from which the revenues of the several colonies of the British Empire were raised, together with the gross amount yielded by each tax or impost, showing the total gross revenue of each colony in the year 1868, or the last financial year for which the same can be obtained, with the cost or charge of collecting the same under each head, these respective charges being deducted, and leaving the net amount of revenue (in continuation of parliamentary paper, no. 247, of session 1872).
