Soldiers, &c. (families in receipt of relief). Abstract return. Summary of returns from each union of England and Wales, and from each parochial board in Scotland, of the number of wives and children of soldiers and marines in receipt of poor relief at any time during the parochial year 1875; similar return as to the wives and children of militia-men; returns of all payments made under the 107th clause of the Mutiny Act to wives and children of soldiers, and for the support of illegitimate children, in compliance with any order made under the Poor Law Acts and Bastardy Acts; and, of payments to wives or children under the 177th Article of War.
