Dog licenses. Returns of the number of dogs assessed to the dog tax in each year from 5 April 1868 to April 1868, when the assessed tax on dogs expired; of the number of licenses granted for dogs during each of the eleven years from 1868 to 1877, ending on 31 December in each year; and, of the number of deaths from hydrophobia during each of the eleven years from 1866 to 1877, inclusive, in each county in England and Wales (in continuation of parliamentary paper, no. 163, of session 1877).
