Seamen's wages (British ships). Return of the average rate of wages of able seamen on board of British vessels which cleared for the Mediterranean in the month of June, from the year 1847 to 1866 inclusive, out of the ports of London, Liverpool, Hull, and of the Tyne, respectively; distinguishing between sailing vessels and steamers: and, similar return in respect to British ships which cleared for North America, for the East Indies and Australia, and for the Baltic.
