Public offices. Returns of the gross sums paid in each year for the acquisition of the vacant ground for public offices, in the vicinity of Downing-Street, and the area of such ground so purchased:--and, of the sums voted by Parliament, since 1825, for the purchase of property in Westminster, in order to obtain space for the rebuilding of public offices, with the amount already paid for such purchases.
