Returns of the number of emigrants, natives of Great Britain or Ireland, who have left the United Kingdom for the British colonies, or the United States of America, during the ten years ending December 1857, and also during the ten years ending December 1867; of the average annual emigration for the ten years ending 1857 and for the ten years ending 1867; also, table showing the occupation, sex, and general destination of English, Scotch, and Irish emigrants, in 1857, as far as can be ascertained from the passenger lists presented by the authorities; and, similar table for 1867.
