New Zealand loan. Copy of a letter (dated Wellington, New Zealand, 29 December 1858), addressed to Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies by the speaker (Sir Charles Clifford), and four other members of the House of Representatives, calling the attention of the Secretary of State to certain evidence given before a Committee of the House of Commons, in favour of a guarantee by the imperial legislature of a loan of Đ 500,000 to the colony of New Zealand; and, of a letter from Mr. Sewell, in reference to the same.
