Pauper children. Return of the number of children between three years and fifteen years of age chargeable to the poor rates of the several parishes and unions in England and Wales, but who shall not be inmates of workhouses, or of any schools for pauper children, on 1 July 1856, showing the number of such children who shall then be attending day schools, and the number of those who shall then be in work.
