Royal forests. Return to an address of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 13 February 1854;--for, "copies of all correspondence, not already before the House, between the commissioner in charge of Her Majesty's woods and forests, and the deputy surveyors of the royal forests, in relation to Mr. Brown's inspection of and reports upon the royal forests, and proceedings in connection therewith, and of any reports from Mr. Brown in answer to the remarks of the deputy surveyors:" "of reports of Mr. John Clutton, to the commissioner in charge of Her Majesty's woods and forests, on Mr. James Brown's reports on the forests, and of any reports from Mr. James Brown in answer to Mr. Clutton's observations:" "and, of correspondence between the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury and the commissioner in charge of Her Majesty's woods and forests, on the subject of the employment of Mr. Brown on an inspection of the forests; and of a Treasury minute and subsequent correspondence relating to the commissioner's second annual report to Parliament."
