Railways. Return, showing the number of passengers conveyed on all the railways in England and Wales, Scotland, and Ireland, respectively, during the half-year ended the 31st December 1850, distinguished in different classes, and the receipts from each class of passengers, and from goods, &c.; compiled from returns made to the Commissioners of Railways, in pursuance of the provisions of the act 3 & 4 Vict. c. 97; also, the length of railway open at the commencement and at the termination of the half-year; together with a summary, comparing the traffic with that in the corresponding period of 1849.
