Poor relief. Returns of the amount of money expended for the maintenance and out-door relief of the poor, in unions and parishes, under the Poor Law Amendment Act, in England and Wales, during the half-years ended at Michaelmas 1849 and Michaelmas 1850: of the total number of paupers in receipt of relief, on the 1st day of January 1850 and the 1st day of January 1851: and, of the number of adult able-bodied paupers in receipt of relief, on the 1st day of January 1850 and the 1st day of January 1851.
