Railways. Return to two orders of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated respectively 29 January and 4 February 1841;--for, copies of all reports made to the Committee of Privy Council by persons appointed by them as inspectors of railways, under the provisions of the act 3 & 4 Vic., c. 97:--of all bye-laws which have been disallowed or modified by the said Committee of Privy Council; together with any rules or regulations which may have been by them suggested for adoption by railroad companies:--of all returns made to the Committee of Privy Council of the aggregate traffic in passengers, in cattle and in goods on each railway, made up to the latest period, under the provisions of the act 3 & 4 Vic., c. 97:--return of all accidents, attended with personal injury, which shall have occurred on each railway, and which shall have been returned to the Committee of Privy Council under the provisions of the act 3 & 4 Vic., c. 97, s. 3:--return of every railway, or portion of a railway, which shall have been opened for the conveyance of passengers and goods after inspection by persons acting under the provisions of the act 3 & 4 Vic. c. 97; specifying any railway, or portion of a railway, which shall have been reported to the Committee of Privy Council as unfit to be opened, but which nevertheless shall have been opened; and what (if any) proceedings shall have been adopted by the Committee of Privy Council, either before or subsequent to such opening.
