Property tax, &c. Return to an order of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 25 April 1843;--for, a return, showing the annual value of real property in each parish of each county in England and Wales assessed to the property and income tax, for the year ending April 1843, including, together, that on land, mines, quarries, tithes, fisheries, manorial and other profits assessed with landed property, dwelling-houses and other buildings, and all other property, as canals, railways, and the total annual value of real property assessed for the year ending April 1843;--also, the quota of land tax assessed on each parish for the year 1798, under the act 38 Geo. 3, c. 5; also, the total value of tithe assessed in each parish to the property tax for the year ended April 1843; also, the total annual value of real property of each parish on which the poor rate, county rate and highway rate was assessed in the year ended January 1842;--also, the rate in the pound on the rateable valuation of real property, at which the church rate has been assessed in each parish, on the average of five years, ending 1842;--also, the rate in the pound on the rateable valuation of real property at which the poor rate has been assessed in each parish, on the average of five years, ending 1842;--also, to state at what rate the county rate and the highway rate, respectively, has been assessed in each county in England and Wales for the year ended 1842;--and also, an abstract of returns, under each of the above heads, with the total amount of church rate, poor rate, county rate and highway rate assessed on property in each county in England and Wales, and the totals of the whole. A return showing the annual value of real property in each parish in each county in Scotland assessed to the property and income tax, for the year ending April 1843, including, together, that on land, mines, quarries, fisheries, manorial and other profits assessed with landed property, dwelling-houses and other buildings, and all other property, as canals, railways, and the total annual value of real property assessed to the property tax for the year ended April 1843;--also, the valuation of real property of each parish on which the land tax is assessed, in sterling money;--also, the valuation of real property of each parish on which the county rate was assessed in 1842;--also, the amount of teind tithe on ministers' stipend assessed on real property in each parish, on the average of five years, ending 1842;--also, the amount of schoolmasters' stipend or salary assessed on real property in each parish, on the average of five years, ending 1842;--also, the rate per pound at which any church, poor and other rate has been assessed on real property, on the average of five years, ended 1842;--and also, an abstract of returns under each of the above heads in each county in Scotland, and the totals of each and stating the rate per Đ.100 sterling at which the land tax is assessed on the valued rental of each county;--also, the rate per pound at which the county rate and highway rate on rogue and statute labour money has been assessed in each county, and on what valuation the assessment was made; distinguishing the total amount assessed on real property, and the total amount assessed on householders and other persons, and at what rate per pound the assessment was made on householders, and at what rate on other persons. Also, return to an order of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 24 May 1844;--for, returns, showing the annual value of real property in each parish of each county in England and Wales assessed to the property and income tax for the year ended April 1843, including, together, that on land, mines, quarries, fisheries, manorial and other profits assessed with landed property, dwelling-houses and other buildings, and all other property, as canals, railways, and the total annual value of the real property assessed for the year ended April 1843;--also showing the total value of tithe assessed in each parish to the property tax for the said year, so far as the same can be distinguished:--showing the quota of land tax assessed in each parish for the year 1798, under the act 38 Geo. 3, c. 5:--showing the annual value of real property in each parish in each county in Scotland assessed to the property and income tax for the year ending April 1843, including, together, that on land, mines, quarries, &c. and the total annual value thereof assessed to the property tax for the said year:--of the valuation of real property in each parish in Scotland on which the land tax is assessed, in sterling money, stating the rate per Đ. 100 sterling at which such tax is assessed on the valued rental of each county.
