Sunderland surcharges. (House tax.) Return to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 25 April 1833;--for, an account of the surcharges made between the 5th of April 1832 and the 5th of April 1833, for the house tax, upon persons resident within the borough of Sunderland; specifying the date when notice of the surcharge was served, the name of the person served, his residence and trade (if any,) the amount of the surcharge, and distinguishing those persons who had not been previously assessed to the house tax.
