Court of Requests, Southwark. A return showing the number of persons committed to the county gaol of the county of Surrey and the borough compter respectively, by the Southwark Court of Requests, in execution for debt, since the 2d August 1823; stating the aggregate amount of the expense incurred by the county of Surrey and the Corporation of London respectively, in their maintenance during such period, or up to the most usual or convenient time the accounts can be made up, and distinguishing the number whose debts, exclusive of costs, did not exceed 20s., 40s., 60s., and 100s. respectively, and the periods for which the parties were detained in custody.
