Criminal offences. Return of the number of persons charged with criminal offences, who were committed to the different gaols in England and Wales, in execution on summary process, in each of the years 1822 and 1823. A similar return for Ireland, for the same periods, exclusive of those committed under the Insurrection Act:--also, a similar return for Scotland, for the last fourteen years.
