Insolvent debtors. Return to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 12th February 1823; for a return of the total number of persons who have applied to be discharged under the acts 1 Geo. 4. c. 119. and 3 Geo. 4. c. 123. for the relief of insolvent debtors in England; from the passing of the first mentioned act (in July 1820) to the 31st December 1822; with the total amount of the debts for which they were arrested; and also the whole sums due and owing by them, and the amount of assets received and divided amongst their creditors; the total number of such creditors, and the number of creditors who opposed the discharge of any such persons; the number of debtors who have been remanded to amend their schedules; and the number of those who have been finally remanded; distinguishing the amount and numbers in each respective year.
