Land tax. Further return to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 24th February 1823; for a return of the assessments on land tax (not exonerated) for the county of Surrey, for the last twenty years; stating the amount assessed, amount collected, the amount paid to the receiver general, the amount of surplus collected in each year, and, if any has been expended, a statement of the items on which it was expended, and the authority for each appropriation, and where the surplus of each year is now deposited; and totals in each district; also, the names of the commissioners and collectors of the district where there was any overplus: so far as concerns the third division of the east half hundred of Brixton.
