Middlesex militia. (1.) A return of the number of persons drawn for the militia of the county of Middlesex within the last three years; distinguishing the number discharged on grounds of exemption, the number who served as principals, and the number as substitutes:--also, the amount of money received by the adjutants or serjeants for substitutes, and the sum they paid for the same (as far as the same can be ascertained); together with an account of all fees received by them or their clerks; likewise the present effective state of the three regiments of the said county, and the effective state of the three regiments at the commencement of the drawing in 1820:--also, the numbers that have been annually discharged in the last two years from the said regiments in the usual course, by the expiration of their term of service. (2.) Return from the Royal East Middlesex Regiment of Militia; from the commencement of the ballot 1820 to the 24th June 1822. (3.) Return from the Royal Westminster Regiment Middlesex Militia; the amount of money received by the serjeants for substitutes, and the sums paid for the same; together with the amount of all fees received by them or their clerks. (4.) Return of the Western Regiment of Royal Middlesex Militia.
