Land tax, Kensington division. Return to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated the 1st July 1822;--for, 1st. A return of the names of the several collectors of the land and assessed taxes, in the Kensington division; the amount received by each for poundage, and for other allowances, in each year for the past seven years; stating also the names of those retaining surplus of land tax, and the amount of such surplus in each year in each collector's possession, and by what authority these balances have been retained:--2dly. A return of the amount of the total poundage and allowances received by Mr. Clarke, clerk to the district commissioners of the Kensington and other divisions in the collection of the land and assessed taxes, in each year since his appointment:--3dly. A return of the names of the district commissioners and inspectors general for the land and assessed taxes for the Kensington division, omitted in the return of the 17th April. (No. 471.).
