Land tax returns. Returns to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 11th February 1822;--for, a return of all assessments of the land tax, for the several divisions in the county of Middlesex, the city of London, and the city and liberty of Westminster, for the last twenty years, with the amount collected in each year, and the quotas for each division paid to the Receiver General, including the amount of the surplus receipts from former years received by the commissioners from the collectors, and the amount of the remaining surplus; stating where it is at present deposited; likewise, an account of that part of the surplus which has been alienated, stating the items on which it has been expended, and the authority for such appropriation.
