Slave trade. (1.) An account of all sums of money paid to the governments of Spain and Portugal, or to any of the subjects thereof, in pursuance of any treaty or treaties for or on account of any losses sustained in carrying on the slave trade. (2.) An account of all sums of money paid to the governments of Spain or Portugal for or in consideration of restricting or giving up the slave trade. (3.) An account of all sums of money due to Great Britain from Spain or Portugal, and remitted to the governments of those countries, for or in consideration of losses incurred in the slave trade, or for giving up or restricting the same. (4.) An account of all sums of money received by the Commissioners of the Treasury, or by any person or persons on their behalf, for or on account of any ships or cargoes for which compensation has been made to the owners in pursuance of any treaties with Spain or Portugal.
