Smuggling prevention, returns: viz. (A.)--Navy. (1).--A return of the numbers and expense of the seamen of the Royal Navy, employed on shore for the prevention of smuggling in Great Britain and Ireland, in the years 1819 and 1820 respectively;--also, (2.)--A return of the number and expense of cruizers for the prevention of smuggling in Great Britain and Ireland, in the years 1819 and 1820 respectively:--so far as relates to the navy. (B.)--Customs, England. (1.)--A return of the salaries and contingent expenses of the Water Guard and officers and men employed in boats, for the prevention of smuggling in England, in the years 1819 and 1820 respectively;--and also, (2.)--A return of the value of the seizures made by the Land and Water Guard employed for the prevention of smuggling, in the years 1819 and 1820 respectively; distinguishing the King's share thereof:--so far as relates to the customs, England. (C.)--Excise, England. (1.)--A return of the number and expense of cruizers for the prevention of smuggling in Great Britain and Ireland, in the years 1819 and 1820 respectively;--also, (2.)--A return of the seizures made by the cruizers for the prevention of smuggling in Great Britain and Ireland, in the years 1819 and 1820 respectively;--and also, (3.)--A return of the value of the seizures made by the Land and Water Guard employed for the prevention of smuggling in Great Britain and Ireland, in the years 1819 and 1820 respectively; distinguishing the King's share thereof:--so far as relates to the excise, England.
