Bank of England. An account of the exchequer bills and bank notes, deposited by the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, as cash, in the chests of the four tellers of His Majesty's Receipt of Exchequer, on the 14th January 1820, and on every twenty-eighth day subsequent to that period, throughout the year 1820; distinguishing the amount of all such bank notes as exceeded in value one thousand pounds each, known at the Exchequer under the title of special notes; and stating the average balance of the year, made up from the said days.
