Return to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 28th February 1816; for, an account of the number of assessments in the City of London to the income tax granted by the acts of 46 Geo. III. c. 65, and 55 Geo. III. c. 53; and of the number of surcharges upon the returns to such assessments; for the year ending the 5th April 1815, and for the three quarters ending the 5th January 1816; distinguishing the number of appeals against such surcharges, and the number of cases in which such surcharges have been confirmed, or wholly or partly reversed, respectively: so far as the same can be made up.
