Return to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated July 13, 1820--for, a return of all prosecutions in Scotland, for twelve months preceding the 5th day of July 1820, for or in respect of any person or persons carrying passengers in any cart or other carriage whatsoever with two wheels, specifying the name and residence of each person proceeded against; and distinguishing whether the prosecution has been brought to trial, with the judgment therein, or whether the prosecution has been compounded, and the amount of the composition; specifying also, the costs or expenses in each case; distinguishing also whether such prosecutions have been brought at the suit of any officer of the stamp duties, or any officer of the assessed taxes.
