Return to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 29th April 1818; for a return of all memorials of charitable donations, which have been transmitted by the clerks of the peace or other officers or persons, from any part of the kingdom, to the inrolment office of the High Court of Chancery, pursuant to the act 52 Geo. 3, c. 102; and that the registrar or his deputy or clerk of the said inrolment office do state, whether any, and to the best of his or their knowledge or belief, what and how many of such memorials have been refused to be taken into the said office, there to be enrolled, in pursuance of the authority of the said act.
