Seizures and detentions. Copy of a letter from Stephen Rumbold Lushington, Esquire, to the commissioners of the customs, dated Treasury Chambers, 11 August 1814: extracted from No. 8, of papers presented by Mr. Lushington, 11 March 1816; being part of the return to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, of the 22d February 1816; for, copies of all orders and instructions sent by the Treasury before the 31st day of August 1814, to the Boards of Customs and Excise, under the act 54 Geo. III, c. 171; and of all memorials, certificates, correspondence, or other documents transmitted to the said boards, with reference to the subject of the said orders and instructions; together with the reports of the said boards thereupon.
