Excise, England. An account of all the appointments which have taken place under the Board of Excise, between the 5th April 1816 and the 5th April 1817; stating, in each case, whether it was by promotion, or otherwise; specifying the pay and emoluments of the employment to which each person has been appointed, as also (if he should have been promoted) those of the office held before by him; and distinguishing the appointments which have been made under the authority or the recommendation of the Treasury.
